What is SyncPhone?
SyncPhone is a native macOS softphone providing professional‑grade VoIP via SIP. Built on the robust PJSIP library, it delivers a comprehensive telephony experience with an interface designed specifically for Mac users. It supports full SIP account registration, inbound/outbound calling, and advanced call management including transfers and hold.
The Settings panel offers straightforward configuration of SIP credentials, registrar domain, proxy servers, and optional STUN for NAT traversal. Choose CoreAudio devices independently for input and output to enable professional setups. Microphone permissions are requested on first launch and managed via macOS privacy controls. Echo cancellation and processing adapt automatically for optimal call quality.
Works with any standards‑compliant SIP IP PBX. Especially optimized for the Synchresis SyncPBX hosted PBX for enhanced integration and streamlined configuration.
NOTE: Internal private testing builds are branded “MacPhone” in screenshots. Public builds will carry the SyncPhone branding. SyncPhone is developed fully in‑house at Synchresis Solutions; SIP handling uses an unmodified PJSIP stack.
